Deductible Limits

Deductibles Are Affected by Building Type

Just as coverage limits are affected by whether a building is classified as other residential or non-residential, so are deductibles.

Both types of non-residential buildings have the option to carry a building deductible of up to $50,000. The maximum deductible for a residential building is $10,000.

The distinction between the two building types is important as it impacts coverage limits and deductibles, as well as the rate charged to the policyholder.
