The following are responsibilities of a IA PDA Specialist:

• Participate in briefings/debriefings
• Obtain specific information on assigned area for survey
• Provide information when requested
• Help lead briefings with local officials, as needed
• Assess Damage
• Record viewed damage
• Annotate information which could indicate additional considerations which should be taken into account when formulating the Regional recommendation
• Prepare narrative report
• Coordinate to ensure concurrence
• Concurrence is critical
• Make sure team members agree with findings throughout the survey
• Act as a liaison to other Federal agencies
• The IA PDA Specialist is expected to represent FEMA and the Federal Government positively at all times
• Information provided by other Federal agencies should be recorded in the Narrative Report and reported to the IA PDA Crew Leader, as appropriate
