Roof Covering — 25% to 50% Damaged

Threshold markers:

  • Some damaged areas of the roof from high winds or damage from debris
  • Some sections of the roof covering are missing or loose
  • Some damage to the flashings
  • Minimal damage to the roof sheathing

Common damage:

  • Some areas where the roof was damaged by high winds
  • Several small areas of exposed roof sheathing as a result of missing/damaged covering

Roof covering damage in the 25% to 50% range will display additional impacts to the roof covering, with higher levels of damage to flashing and the eaves of the roof. Typically, as the photo demonstrates, sheathing damage will not be evident, and the roof will remain more or less intact structurally.
