The Bulk Editor feature allows users to edit all data fields for as many assessments as needed from a single view. This feature is very useful if you need to make edits to multiple assessments. The changes can be made directly in the Bulk Editor and do not require opening each individual assessment or property record.

The Bulk Editor displays each assessment in the SDE Tool database on one row. To edit a data field, the user can type over existing data or use the copy and paste function. Edits must be made one at a time, on a field-by-field and assessment-by-assessment basis.

Common data entry errors or omissions include:

• Misspelled street name
• Incorrect BFE
• Incorrect Zip Code
• Missing assessment data
• Missing or inconsistent cause of damage
