Protection of Utility Systems-Sewer System

Sewer Systems:

  • Install and/or maintain a check valve or sewer backflow prevention valve
  • Install an effluent ejector pump
  • Provide a backup electrical source
  • Seal septic tanks to prevent contamination
  • Adequately anchor septic tank to withstand buoyancy forces
