This course is intended for alerting administrators of the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). The requirements for establishing and maintaining alerting authority status. How to manage technical and operational components and develop plans, policies and procedures. Best practices for alert and warning success. How to administer training, practice, and exercising throughout an alerting authority.
